In my last episode I played a 10 min. skit covering all the democratic nominees,
written by a friend of mine in England- it was hilarious! Politics are hard...
I try to keep it as entertaining as possible while still getting my message across.

Geoffrey Lewis, star of movies, television, and stage, writes and performs
narrations in the first person.
He performs many different character voices. You've seen
Geoffrey Lewis in some Clint Eastwood

and you'll see he was in a lot of motion pictures.

HAT will have workshops that will cover the following:
How to write an audio play script.
Voice acting (which will also prepare these students for oral reports and public speaking).
The importance of sound effects in audio theater (radio theater).
Integrating music with audio plays.
Microphone etiquette (acting while standing in front of a microphone)
outdated or dead artform.
What is AUDIO THEATER (RADIO THEATRE)?
an audio CD rather than seeing it with your eyes. Actually, you can put your favorite Star Wars movie on your DVD and
than just close your eyelids...and listen. You'll HEAR how the dialogue integrates with the sound effects and music.
That's a sample of how audio theater works.
In the audio theater world, the person who punctuates the play with sound effects either manually or electroncally (or both)
is called a SOUND EFFECTS ARTIST. In movies, there's a person who adds sound effects in when the visual
aspects (principle photography) is finished and that person is called a FOLEY ARTIST. Well, foley artist can work
in audio theater, but they have to put the sound effects (SFX) in DURING the performances and NOT after.
